Our Services

All of the services provided by The Good Samaritan Ministries are provided free of charge to clients.


Food

This year, we'll distribute nearly 4,000 boxes of food to our neighbors in Franklin County.  Residents who meet our income eligibility requirements may receive up to eight food boxes per year.  Eligible Franklin County residents are also to sign up for a special food distribution during the Christmas season.

We work with dietary professionals to help ensure that each food box will enable clients to serve nutricious food to their families for ten days to two weeks.


Clothing

Good Samaritan offers a selection of men's, women's and children's clothing.  Small household items and utensils are often available as well.


Utility Assistance

Franklin County residents are eligible for up to $100 of utility assistance once every twelve months, calculated on a rolling basis.  Clients receiving utility assistance in May, for example, are normally eligible to receive utility assistance again the following May.

We also administer special utility programs for senior and disabled neighbors.
